The world's shortest street measures just 6ft 9in (2.05m), meaning you can cover the whole street in just a few steps.
Ebenezer Place in Wick, in Scotland's Caithness has held the Guinness World Record for being the World's Shortest Street, and only boasts one address; the Mackays Hotel, which has been there ever since the street itself was first created.
In 1883, Alexander Sinclair returned from travels and built the Mackays Hotel, but the council told him he would need a name on the building's end as they deemed it a street. So in 1887, Ebenezer Place was created.
Nowadays, the Mackays Hotel is still going strong, and remains the only address on Ebenezer Place.
Although the street dates back to 1887, it wasn't officially recognised as the world's shortest until the Guinness World of Records editor-in-chief Craig Glenday came to the town of Wick on October 28, 2006 to check it.
According to the Mackays Hotel website, it didn't make for the easiest journey. Thanks to "gale force winds and storms", it took Mr Glenday nearly 50 hours and a lot of detours before he arrived at the spot. However, it didn't take too long for the checks to be completed - an hour later, Ebenezer Place had claimed the title.
