It’s another action-packed schedule on the second day of competition at the UK Athletics Championships.

Friday was mainly dominated by heats as the athletes eased into their work, but the Manchester Regional Arena hosts plenty of finals on Saturday.

Dina Asher-Smith and Reece Prescod both comfortably make it out of their 100m heats on the opening day and will not be expecting any problems in the semi-finals either. The two 100m finals take place on Saturday evening.

Before that Laura Muir, who breezed through her first race on Friday, is heavy favourite for the women’s 1500m, while the first four heptathlon events take place too.
