UK actor charged in huge Australian drug bust

Emaa Hussen, a British actor known for the EastEnders spin-off E20 , has been charged with allegedly attempting to import £157m worth of methamphetamine into Australia.
Police allege Hussen, 34, along with an Adelaide-based couple, tried to import 320kg of meth hidden in bags of charcoal, transported in shipping containers from Ghana.
The drugs, with an estimated street value of A$296m (£157m), were detected by Australian Border Force officers in Sydney's Port Botany.
Hussen appeared in a Sydney court on Thursday, 18 June, where she was refused bail, and is scheduled to return to court in August.
The Australian Federal Police alleged that Hussen supervised the unpacking of a container at a storage facility, and further bags believed to have contained meth were found at her home.
