UIDAI Internship 2026: Apply for 28 positions in Bengaluru. Check last date, eligibility, skills & stipend

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has opened applications for its 2026 internship programme at the Technology Centre in Bengaluru. Interested candidates can apply from April 1, with the last date for submission set as April 15, 2026.

As per the official notification, UIDAI is offering a total of 28 internship positions, along with an attractive stipend for selected candidates. The opportunity is open to students from a wide range of academic backgrounds, making it a strong option for those looking to gain hands-on experience in technology, data, and design.

Who Can Apply?

Students currently pursuing or recently enrolled in courses such as:

  • B.Tech / Bachelor of Engineering
  • M.Tech
  • Bachelor / Master of Design
  • Bachelor / Master of Mathematics
  • Bachelor / Master of Statistics

Required Skills

For technical roles, applicants should have knowledge of programming languages such as Go, Java, Python, and C++. Additional expertise in areas like:

  • Data Science
  • Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning (AI/ML)
  • Full-stack Development
  • Android / iOS Development
  • ReactJS and React Native

Candidates applying for design roles must demonstrate a solid understanding of UI/UX principles, including research methods, information architecture, prototyping, and typography. Proficiency in tools like Adobe Suite and Figma is also required.

Internship Duration & Location

The internship will be based in Bengaluru and will run for a minimum duration of six months. UIDAI has mentioned that preference will be given to candidates who can commit to the full duration.

The number of available positions may vary depending on organisational requirements. UIDAI also reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process or reject applications at any stage.
