The coach of the Ugandan Olympic delegation, who tested positive for the novel coronavirus at airport quarantine, was again confirmed to be positive on Sunday after being released from medical treatment, according to the city of Izumisano, Osaka Prefecture.
According to the city, the coach arrived at a hotel in Izumisano on July 1 after a 10-day treatment period following the confirmation of his infection on June 19. He was kept in a separate room from the rest of the team and given a PCR test every day.
The specimen collected on Saturday was positive.
