UGA Wire ranks the Top 25 after Week 1

Week 1 of college football is officially in the books, which can only mean one thing. It’s time for some updated rankings polls.

Before the Amway USA TODAY Coaches Poll comes out Tuesday, we wanted to take the time to rank our own version of the Top 25.

  • Clemson should still be No. 1
  • Alabama is a hair above Georgia at the moment.
  • LSU impressed us just a tad bit more than Oklahoma and Ohio State.
  • Florida is not a Top 10 team
  • Notre Dame looks slightly better than Michigan and Florida.
  • Auburn is better than we thought.
  • The majority of the Top 25 stayed around the same.
  • Oregon is definitely a Top 25 team.
  • Cincinnati should be ranked.
  • Boise State should be ranked.
  • Tennessee deserves a spot in the Bottom 10.
