UGA’s Malcolm Mitchell: 26 days until Georgia football’s return

Georgia football has started practicing. With Zamir White cleared and a pretty healthy roster there’s a lost to be excited about. And with only two Saturdays left without college football we’re in the home stretch America. Now there are only twenty-six days left before the start of Georgia’s 2019 football season.

Let’s look at Malcolm Mitchell, who wore number twenty-six during his time in Athens. Mitchell has had a busy year, where he’s retired from football following ten knee surgeries and has made UGA’s forty under forty list. Mitchell’s biggest play at Georgia came when he scored a game-winning touchdown vs. Florida in 2012. Georgia came within five yards of the National Championship that season. You can’t forget his big moment:

Don’t forget Mitchell’s short, but sweet NFL career. Mitchell won a Super Bowl for the Patriots and made clutch plays in their comeback victory:

Mitchell is a role model for current and future Georgia football players and UGA students. Athens gives everyone a chance to make a positive impact on the world. Mitchell came to Athens struggling to read and is now helping others, so they don’t have the same struggle he had.
