Jamil Burroughs, a four-star defensive tackle and Georgia Bulldog recruiting target has committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide. The talented lineman from Georgia announced his decision via Twitter:
The Crimson Tide have landed yet another elite defensive lineman and will look to continue their dominance along their defensive front. McEachern High School defensive tackle Jamil Burroughs announced on Twitter that he was de-committing from UGA and re-opening his recruitment last month:
Burroughs is a 6’2″, 330-pound Peach State native and had Clemson, Alabama, and Georgia among his top schools. The Crimson Tide and Tigers have the top two 2020 recruiting classes and will look to continue their dominance of recruiting and on-the-field play.
Burroughs would’ve been a boost to Kirby Smart’s class of 2020. Georgia’s 2020 class is among the best in the nation, but still needs a few more commitments. Burroughs is considered a top forty defensive tackle recruit.
