On Friday, UGA 2020 outside linebacker commit Mekhail Sherman announced on Twitter that he will be joining a large number of other commits in Athens this weekend.
Sherman is a five-star prospect from St. John’s College High School in Washington, D.C. He is ranked as the number 13 player in the nation for his class and the number 2 outside linebacker.
Joining Sherman in Athens will be a number of other highly-rated 2020 recruits, such as 5-star CB commit Kelee Ringo, 4-star offensive tackle commit Tate Ratledge, 4-star QB commit Carson Beck, 5-star DE Jordan Burch, 5-star RB Zachary Evans, 5-star ATH Darnell Washington, and 5-star OT commit Broderick Jones
If the Dawgs can further impress these talented commits this weekend and retain their commitments until signing day, the 2020 class could go down as one of the most important in recent memory for UGA.
