After having Georgia’s initial Pro Day, the University of Georgia is going to host a second Pro Day for Linebacker D’Andre Walker. Walker has been recovering from sports-hernia surgery on January 23rd and was able to begin running several weeks ago. Here’s his reaction to being able to run again:
It’s always a great feeling being able to advance to the next stage in the rehab process, so that’s great news for Walker.
Based on the fact he started running about 3 weeks ago, expect Walker to be limited in some capacity for his Pro Day. Walker does not have to press him self too much and try to run a great 40 time, etc.; instead Walker can rely on the quality tape his produced over the past couple seasons. The Pro Day will serve as an excellent chance for scouts to have a better idea of how well recovery has gone for Walker. D’Andre Walker Day is set for this Friday.
