On Wednesday, freshman Tennessee linebacker Quavaris Crouch posted a workout photo on Instagram with the caption “Crafting and getting better everyday failure is a part of growing 🏃🏾💯✝️.”
That’s when Los Angeles Charger and former legendary UGA linebacker Thomas Davis appeared in the comments with a troll for the young Volunteer. “You went to the right place to grow!!🤣🤣🤣,” he wrote.
Davis went on to clarify the comment, noting that he and Crouch have a pre-existing relationship that allows allows him to “say whatever [he] wants to [Crouch].”
Understandably, the Volunteer fanbase isn’t too happy with Davis’s comment and many take it as an example of a salty fan, or in this case former player, of one school taking out their frustration at a recruit committing to a rival. However, there’s nothing wrong with a little Tennessee hate every once in a while.
