UGA great David Pollack placed on 2020 CFB Hall of Fame ballot

On Monday, it was announced that former star Georgia linebacker David Pollack will be listed on the upcoming 2020 College Football Hall of Fame ballot.

According to DawgNation, there is a more likely than ever chance that this will be the year that Pollack will finally be rightfully inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Pollack is one of the most decorated players in the history of the program. He played for the Dawgs from 2001-2004 for Coach Mark Richt. During his time with the program, he earned accolades such as the SEC Player of the Year, SEC Defensive Player of the Year, Lombardi Award, Lott Trophy, and was a three-time All-SEC honoree.

He went on to have a very short NFL career that ended due to repeated injuries. Now, he analyzes college football as a part of ESPN’s College Gameday.

Let’s hope Pollack finally get the recognition he deserves as one of college football’s best and is enshrined into the Hall of Fame.
