The Georgia Bulldogs have a game named to ESPN’s top ten greatest college football games of all-time. ESPN created the list in honor of the 150th season of college football.

It’s almost impossible to pick ten games. This list has to leave off hundreds of great games. The list did select the Penn State vs. Georgia game in 1983. Fresh off of winning the 1982 Heisman Trophy, Herschel Walker and undefeated number one ranked Georgia played number two Penn State in the Sugar Bowl. The Dawgs fell 23-27 to the Nittany Lions.
Do you think any other Georgia games missed the list? Maybe the Rose Bowl against Oklahoma or the National Championship against Alabama. Additionally, the 2012 SEC Championship against the Crimson Tide was a great, dramatic game. Unfortunately for the Bulldogs, most of their great recent games don’t end up going their way.
The 1980 National Championship was a great game that went UGA’s way. There’s not too many recent games that made the list. In fact, the most recent game is Michigan against Appalachian State in 2007.
