Demetris Robertson, the former Cal transfer, had his first catch as a Bulldog against Vanderbilt last night.
The wide receiver finished the game with 3 receptions for 23 yards and a touchdown, helping lift Georgia to its first win of the season over the Commodores.
After the game, the junior had this to say.
“I felt really good, I do it all the time in practice, but it was awesome to get a touchdown and the offense drove down the field and was clicking in the first half,” said Robertson.
When asked what the biggest difference was between Demtris Robertson 2.0 and last year’s Demetris Robertson, the junior mentioned being selfless and focusing on the details in the offseason.
“Really just focusing in on little details, getting my opportunity and just keep playing hard, knowing my assignment and being selfless for my team.”
