Jacolbe Cowan, a four-star defensive end and Georgia Bulldog recruiting target will make his commitment date today. Cowan plays at Providence Day in Charlotte, North Carolina. Among Cowan’s top schools are Ohio State, UGA, North Carolina, Oregon, and Tennessee.
Cowan would be a boost to Kirby Smart’s class of 2020. Georgia’s 2020 class is among the best in the nation, but still needs a few more commitments. Ohio State is considered the front runner to land Cowan when he announces his commitment later tonight:
Cowan is considered both a defensive end and defensive tackle recruit. He’d be a good defensive end in Georgia’s 3-4 scheme.
