The Georgia Bulldogs are among ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit’s top performing teams of the week after their big-win over the Florida Gators. Herbstreit ranked his best teams of the week via his Twitter:
Do you think Georgia deserved to be the best performing team of the week? I think it is close between the Dawgs and the Utah Utes, but I have to give the edge to UGA, since they played a tougher opponent. Utah had an impressive comeback victory over Jacob Eason and Washington in perhaps their best of win of the season, but the Huskies have been inconsistent this season.
Georgia additionally made Herbie’s top six rankings in college football. The College Football Playoff rankings come out tonight. The big question for the Dawgs is will they be ranked ahead of all of the other one-loss schools?
Georgia, Utah, Oregon, and Oklahoma should be the top four ranked one-loss schools. Minnesota or Baylor may be ranked ahead of one or two of these teams.
