UFO experts predict wave of unidentified objects coming to UK after US sightings

UFO experts have predicted a wave of alien sightings in the UK amid a number of mystery objects shot down in the US.

The US military has gunned down four flying objects in less than two weeks with one suspected of being a Chinese spy balloon.

While the other three objects are thought to be "benign", according to John White House spokesman John Kirby.

Mr Kirby revealed during Tuesday's press conference it will be difficult to find the motive or origin behind the three UFOs shot down over Alaska, Canada and Michigan until the debris is recovered and analysed.

He said: "We haven't seen any indication or anything that points specifically to the idea that these three objects were part of the PRC's [People's Republic of China] spying programme."

And with the military shooting down the balloons to help protect US airspace, mystery still surrounds the unidentified objects.

According to US airforce general Glen VanHerck the military will be unable to identify where the objects came from or how they stayed afloat.

He was asked whether extraterrestrial's were behind last week's mystery sightings and refused to deny it.

Mr VanHerck said: "I’ll let the intel community and the counterintelligence community figure that out. I haven’t ruled out anything.”

But, according to Joe McGonagle, a UFO researcher, the public are becoming more receptive of the possibility of aliens.

He told The Guardian: "There’s a spectrum of belief, if you like, from people with thoughts similar to my own, to people who think that this is a wave of aliens coming in."

Although Joe doesn't believe aliens were behind the most recent strange sightings, he doesn't rule out the possibility of their being an extraterrestrial life.

He revealed: "I don’t doubt extraterrestrial life exists.

"I think statistically there’s a very high probability that it does. But I do doubt very much that it’s actually visiting Earth.”

Joe spent years looking over classified Ministry of Defence documents in the National Archives to find out what the US government knew about aliens.

He use to believe authorities were keeping back information from the public to not scare them but now accepts that's wrong.

Sightings could be more frequent in the UK, according to one UFO expert (Getty Images)

He revealed: "I eventually came to the conclusion basically that people like myself actually know more about them than the authorities do."

But despite spending years studying UFOs the experts believes there are just some things which can't be explained initially.

Joe said: "There are things which on the face of it can’t be explained immediately.

"But there’s still a thousand and one possibilities of what they could be, not just alien spaceships.”

The British UFO Research Association revealed there had been a slight increase on the number of people getting in contact with sightings.

And Joe believes that number will only increase in the coming weeks.

He added: “And suddenly you’ve got an alien invasion.”
