UFO captured flying over south Bristol in video

A Bedminster woman managed to capture the moment a mysterious UFO flew over her house on video.

The resident said she first spotted the object at around 7.30pm last night (March 24) when she saw a red light in the sky which didn't move at all.

She continued: "At first I thought it was a plane waiting to land, or a police helicopter - but it stayed for minutes and didn't move.

"We have phone cables above the garden, so I could see easily the movements.

"Then suddenly it started moving in a zig-zag very quickly.

"I pulled out my phone to video it, but it moved very far in just one second."

She said she lost sight of the object briefly before seeing another one a minute later on the opposite side.

"It wasn't an air plane or helicopter, and it was two different objects," she continued. "I was thinking maybe it's a drone, but it covered a big distance so quickly, no drone is that fast.

"Weather balloons are not travelling that fast either, or satellites."

Last summer, a Westerleigh woman said she was left 'unnerved' after spotting a mysterious UFO in a picture she took of the sky.

She didn't see anything peculiar at the time but after looking at the picture, she later spotted a mysterious silver, saucer-like object above the clouds.

From smiley faces in the sky to a tornado-like waterspout over the sea, there have been plenty of strange sights above the Bristol area in recent months.
