The UFL demo is out now for PC players and runs through June 16 as part of Steam Next Fest. Since this is a pre-release version, progress won’t carry over once the test wraps up. That means squads, clubs, and any achievements earned during the demo will be reset.
The demo features a special version of the Dragonborn Steam Team Pass, with tiered rewards that help build your squad as you play. Daily challenges rotate in new tasks each day, giving players fresh opportunities to earn valuable items and speed up progression.
Online options include Ranked matches and PvE Playoffs for players chasing rewards and competition, while friendlies give a more laid-back experience with no pressure and no resource costs. There’s also a variety of skin packs that can be unlocked with earned rewards. Some of these offer more than just a visual change — select skins come with performance boosts that give players an edge on the pitch. Two Showdown Events are scheduled during the demo window, running from June 9 to 12 and again from June 13 to 16. Both events offer leaderboard challenges and exclusive rewards for top performers.
To help players move quickly through the competitive ladder, the Accelerated Ladder system gives a faster path to the Premier Division. It’s a chance to prove yourself before the demo wraps up. For those wanting to test lineups or try out new tactics, Training Mode is available at any time. It’s a solid way to get comfortable before heading into matches with more on the line.
