The highly anticipated trilogy fight between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier lasted just one round Saturday night after McGregor suffered a nasty lower leg injury in the final seconds of the first round and the fight was called.
Poirier got the victory and controlled most of the first round but it was a brutal ending for a fight that the UFC world couldn’t wait to watch.
McGregor seemed to injure his left ankle/leg during the final few seconds of the first round after the two exchanged some punches. McGregor missed on a punch and seemed to twist his left ankle pretty badly.
