UFC star Conor McGregor enjoys boozy night out with chat show host Jimmy Fallon

Conor McGregor has enjoyed a night on the tiles with US chat show host Jimmy Fallon for an forthcoming TV show.

The UFC star will appear as a guest on Fallon's chat show for the first time next Monday.

He shared a sneak peek of their time together - and it seemed to involve a lot of booze.

McGregor posted a series of pictures with Fallon on Instagram with the caption: "Rocky 12: The Irish Stallion."

The pair are seen drinking whiskey, having a face-off and joining a band for a sing-song in what looks to be an Irish pub most likely in New York City where The Tonight Show is filmed.

It comes as McGregor paid tribute to music star Drake in a new Instagram post.

Aubrey 'Drake' Graham played his third and final sold-out 3Arena show in Dublin last night, and the UFCsuperstar has wished him luck.

Drake shouted out The Notorious in his first gig, telling the Irish crowd that he had been given advice ahead of the show by McGregor.

He said in the post: "The first time I went to see Drake was with Bono.

"Drake is currently performing back to back to back, sold out shows in Ireland’s Point Depot. He has a La Ferrari swinging from the roof of it.

"I love seeing the videos from the arena and to Drake shouting me out I appreciate your continued support brother!

"Ireland loves you my man the Champagne Papi! Big love and respect from the Proper Don.

"Enjoy the Emerald Isle my brother and keep it rocking before my return."

Drake has previously walked McGregor on stage at the weigh-in for his UFC 229 bout with Khabib Nurmagomedov for the Lightweight Championship.

They first met in the Grammy winner's hometown of Toronto during the promotional tour for Mayweather v McGregor in the Summer of 2017.

Meanwhile, Drake fans have told of their shock at seeing the rap star strolling around Tallaght in Dublin.

The Canadian superstar was spotted playing some basketball at the National Basketball Arena before heading to the nearby Eddie Rockets to cool down with a milkshake.

Drake superfan Claire Mason told Irish Daily Mirror: “I kind of saw the back of him when he was going in, there was a bit of a commotion or whatever.

“It was early, I don’t think Eddie’s was even open that long so I think it was about 12ish, afternoon.

“I couldn’t believe it. I was down in the area where he was earlier on, at the National Basketball Arena, and then I was like ‘ah no, it can’t be, but there he was just going by me."
