UFC’s Johnny Walker KOs opponent, hurts himself doing the worm

6-foot-6 light heavyweight contender Johnny Walker needed just 34 seconds in the first round to score a spectacular victory over Misha Cirkunov by knockout – and then injured himself doing his signature celebration.

Walker stunned Cirkunov with a beautiful flying knee and then swarmed on his opponent, forcing the referee to stop the fight with a flurry of blows from above. Walker began a salute seconds later, then fell directly forward onto the mat and tried to transition into the worm, but hurt his shoulder in the process.

Walker, 26, improved to 17-3 with the win. In his postfight interview with Joe Rogan, Walker shouted out Mickey Mouse and asked the crowd to follow him on Instagram so he could land some sponsorships. Walker successfully performed the worm last month at UFC Fortaleza after another quick first-round finish.

Walker’s UFC colleagues were blown away.
