UFC’s Frankie Edgar got emotional talking about his son after losing title fight

UFC legend Frankie Edgar fell short in his attempt to become the featherweight champ on Saturday, as he lost via unanimous decision to the great Max Holloway, who successfully defended his title once again.

There has been talk about Edgar possibly going down a weight class and try to get his way to a shot at the bantamweight (135) title.

Edgar’s size (5-foot-6) has always been a challenge for him at featherweight, and he admitted Saturday night that he was giving up a few pounds to Holloway, who is 5-foot-11 and walks around at much heavier weight than Edgar.

Edgar was asked after the fight about his size and his plans for what’s next and he emotionally explained that he always wanted to show his son that size doesn’t matter:
