WASHINGTON – MMA Junkie is on scene and reporting live from Friday’s early and official UFC on ESPN 7 fighter weigh-ins, which kick off at 9 a.m. ET (6 a.m. PT).
The early weigh-ins take place at the UFC host hotel in Washington, D.C. Unlike most UFC events, there are no ceremonial weigh-ins Friday for the fans ahead of Saturday’s card, which takes place at Capital One Arena in Washington. The main card airs on ESPN following prelims on ESPN and early prelims on UFC Fight Pass/ESPN+.
Among those weighing in are Alistair Overeem (45-17 MMA, 10-6 UFC) and Jairzinho Rozenstruik (9-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC), who meet in the heavyweight main event, and Cynthia Calvillo (8-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC) and Marina Rodriguez (12-0-1 MMA, 2-0-1 UFC), who meet in the women’s strawweight co-feature.
