UFC on ESPN 44: How to watch Holloway vs. Allen, start time, fight card, odds

The UFC is taking the show on the road Saturday with UFC on ESPN 44 at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Mo., with a key featherweight matchup atop the card.

Here’s how to watch UFC on ESPN 44, headlined by former champion Max Holloway vs. Arnold Allen.

Broadcast and streaming info for UFC on ESPN 44

Brendan Fitzgerald, Paul Felder, Michael Bisping

UFC on ESPN 44 has a main card that begins at 8:30 p.m. ET, which simultaneously airs on ESPN and streams on ESPN+. Prelims on ESPN+ are scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. ET.

Main event

A pair of top-five featherweights will go at it in the night’s headliner. For Holloway (23-7 MMA, 19-7 UFC), UFC on ESPN 44 will be his first appearance since his failed attempt to reclaim the belt from Alexander Volkanovski in their trilogy last July at UFC 276. Allen (19-1 MMA, 10-0 UFC) will look to move his winning streak to 13 fights overall and pick up the biggest victory of his career against one of the greatest 145 pounders. Allen most recently beat Calvin Kattar by injury TKO last October.

UFC debuts: Bruna Brasil

Bruna Brasil (8-2-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC), a 29-year-old from Brazil, made her U.S. debut in 2022 in the LFA. That got her some attention from the UFC, and after a head-kick win over Marnic Mann this past September on Dana White’s Contender Series, she got her eventual shot this week in the women’s strawweight division against Denise Gomes (6-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC).

UFC debuts: Gaston Bolanos

Gaston Bolanos

After an entire pro career spent in Bellator, the 30-year-old Gaston Bolanos (6-3 MMA, 0-0 UFC) makes his move to the UFC in a bantamweight bout against Aaron Phillips (12-4 MMA, 0-3 UFC). Bolanos went 6-3 in Bellator, and the muay Thai specialist also has bouts under the Bellator Kickboxing banner. He’ll be fighting Saturday on the one-year anniversary of his most recent win – a first-round knockout of Daniel Carey at Bellator 277.
