TAMPA, Fla. – MMA Junkie was on scene and reporting live from Friday’s early and official UFC on ESPN+ 19 fighter weigh-ins, where all fighters hit their marks for Saturday’s card.
Former strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk (15-3 MMA, 9-3 UFC), despite reports earlier in the week that she’d miss weight and was requesting a catchweight, came in at 115.5 pounds without incident. She weighed in less than 20 minutes into the two-hour window. Her opponent in the main event, Michelle Waterson (17-6 MMA, 5-2 UFC), weighed in before her and was 115.
The early weigh-ins took place at the UFC host hotel in Tampa, Fla. Unlike most UFC events, there are no ceremonial weigh-ins today for the fans ahead of Saturday’s card, which takes place at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Fla. The card streams on ESPN+.
