Jared Cannonier, Ovince Saint Preux, John Phillips and Jack Shore each earned $50,000 bonuses for their performances at Saturday’s UFC on ESPN+ 18 event.
All four fighters earned “Performance of the Night” honors; no “Fight of the Night” was given out. UFC officials announced the winners following the event.
Cannonier (13-4 MMA, 6-4 UFC) was triumphant in the main event at Royal Arena in Copenhagen, when he scored a second-round TKO of Jack Hermansson (20-5 MMA, 7-3 UFC) to improve to 3-0 as a middleweight.
The rest earned finishes, as well, with Saint Preux (24-13 MMA, 12-8 UFC) scoring his signature Von Flue choke finish of against Michal Oleksiejczuk, John Phillips (22-9 MMA, 1-3 UFC) produced a 14-second knockout of Alen Amedovski (8-2 MMA, 0-2 UFC), and Jack Shore (12-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) scores a submission over Nohelin Hernandez (10-4 MMA, 0-2 UFC) in his octagon debut.
