MEXICO CITY – At Thursday’s UFC on ESPN+ 17 media day, fighters came together to face off for the first time during fight week.
There were no incidents during the staredowns. But while things were cordial, the faceoffs were undeniably intense, and that includes the show’s headliners, featherweights Yair Rodriguez (11-2 MMA, 7-1 UFC) and Jeremy Stephens (28-16 MMA, 15-15 UFC).
UFC on ESPN+ 17 takes place Saturday at Arena Ciudad de Mexico. The card streams on ESPN+.
