Hawaiian bantamweight Smolka (15-6 MMA, 6-6 UFC) returns to action on Saturday night when he meets Ryan MacDonald (10-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) in a preliminary-card bout at UFC Vancouver.
Wednesday, Smolka talked to MMA Junkie and let us know what he’s been up to recently. He also talks about his mindset heading into the bout with MacDonld, as he looks to shake off a loss in his last fight and earn his fifth victory in his past six.
UFC on ESPN+ 16 takes place Saturday at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The card streams on ESPN+.
