UFC on ESPN+ 15 poster released: China gets its first UFC title fight

The UFC will visit a new territory in China on Aug. 31 when UFC on ESPN+ 15 takes place at Universiade Sports Centre in Shenzhen, with a main card that streams on ESPN+ following prelims on ESPN.

A strawweight championship fight headlines the card. Reigning champion Jessica Andrade (20-6 MMA, 11-4 UFC) will enter enemy territory against streaking contender Weili Zhang (19-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC), who will attempt to become the UFC’s first champion from China.

The title bout is the centerpiece of the event poster, which the UFC has released (via Twitter):

The latest UFC on ESPN+ 15 lineup includes:

  • Jessica Andrade vs. Weili Zhang – for strawweight title
  • Anthony Hernandez vs. Jun Yong Park
  • Mark De La Rosa vs. Kai Kara-France
  • Li Jingliang vs. Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos
