UFC on ESPN+ 14 draws announced sold-out crowd of 9,255 in Uruguay

The UFC’s debut event in Uruguay drew an announced attendance of 9.255 fans, which the promotion deemed a sell-out.

UFC officials announced the figure following the conclusion of Saturday’s UFC on ESPN+ 14, which streamed live on ESPN+ from Antel Arena in Montevideo, Uruguay.

A live gate total was not announced, which is traditional for UFC events in South America.

In the night’s main event, women’s flyweight champ Valentina Shevchenko (18-3 MMA, 7-2 UFC) picked up a one-sided decision win over Liz Carmouche (13-7 MMA, 5-5 UFC), avenging a 2010 loss and defending her UFC title with scores of 50-45 across the board.
