UFC Legend Michael Bisping hits back at Conor McGregor's 'GOAT' fighters list

Michael Bisping has fired back at Conor McGregor over his claims that Anderson Silva tops the UFC pound for pound list.

McGregor took to social media to claim who he believes is the UFC’s greatest ever combatants, with 'The Spider' topping the bill.

The Notorious named himself as the second best of all time on what he referred to as the ‘GOAT THREAD’, stating that with his wins in three weight divisions and two weight titles, he will be at the No.1 spot by the end of his career.

The Dubliner posted: “The array of finishes, across 2 divisions, with champion status in 1, Anderson Silva is No.1 MMA GOAT. My array of finishes, across 3 divisions, with champion status in 2, I’m No.2. If not tied 1. However still active, No.1 is fully secured by career end. And easily."

Bisping hit back at McGregor’s list, as he himself holds a victory over Silva, after their clash at UFC Fight Night 84 back in 2016.

Replying to McGregor on Twitter, ‘The Count’ said: "Well this one eyed fighter you speak of actually beat your number one, and he defended his belt so your logic doesn’t really add up. Anyway, have a good day. #facts."

McGregor placed UFC legend George St Pierre at No.3, with current light-heavyweight champion Jon ‘Bones’ Jones at No.4.

The post also received backlash from Nate Diaz and Khabib Nurmagomedov, while Jon Jones reacted after McGregor commented on failed drug tests in the post.

McGregor added: "I didn’t mention PED results on multiple entrants, even though that makes me the clear current No.1 MMA GOAT, along with still being active.

"Although it shames, as well as puts all runs+finishes in complete doubt, I’ve snored multiple juice heads. A true GOAT must do it all."
