  • The fight card saw Justin Gaethje secure an upset stoppage win over Ilia Topuria for the lightweight championship and Ciryl Gane win the interim heavyweight title.
  • Paramount+ became the UFC's main broadcast partner in January, transitioning the mixed martial arts promotion from a pay-per-view to a subscriber-based model.
