Charles Oliveira has explained that he often sees three fighters when competing in the UFC octagon due to his poor eyesight.
The Brazilian is the reigning lightweight champion and has had a hugely successful career in the promotion, defeating the likes of Tony Ferguson and Michael Chandler.
He recently retained his 155lb strap with a third-round submission victory over Dustin Poirier and was pictured with his glasses during the event.
Oliveira has explained how his eyesight is only functioning at "50 per cent" but has admitted he hasn't been hindered in a fight as of yet.
"I see three [faces]. If I hit the middle one; that’s fine," Oliveira told Flow podcast. "I think keep this same technique. Three guys for me is perfect. If I hit the one in the middle; it’s good.

"I'll tell you the truth, I'm a guy who has a lot of faith in God and it's no joke. If I take my glasses off, I only see 50 per cent but it never hindered me in a fight.
"It never hindered me in a fight. Sometimes I walk in without the glasses, sometimes I walk in with the glasses. It depends on my vibe. Sometimes I like to walk in with glasses to look harmless and more nerdy than I already am.
"And when I take my glasses off, it's normal, I can see my opponent on the other side. God blesses me so much that I can see normal. But on the streets, if I take them off, I'm blind."
Oliveira's glasses came into the spotlight after his recent victory against Poirier when a fan saw an opportunity to snatch them during his walk back to the dressing room.
However security swiftly intervened by finding the man and returning the glasses to Oliveira who left through a sea of fans in the arena.
His next challenge is currently unclear with J ustin Gaethje currently in pole position to secure a shot at the title according to UFC president Dana White.

It appears the champion would favour a super-fight with Irish star Conor McGregor upon his return and is waiting for his social media challenge to be made official.
Despite the Irish star's recent decline, UFC legend Chael Sonnen believes that McGregor would pose a significant threat to Oliveira due to his striking ability.
"If there's anybody that Conor [McGregor] is likely to beat to become the world champion, it is the sitting champion right now," Sonnen said on his YouTube channel. 'Charles Oliveira-Conor McGregor is a fascinating matchup.
"It is very problematic for Oliveira. Conor McGregor is as good of a striker as this sport has ever seen. Oliveira is a very dynamic striker who showed some real wrestling prowess in a couple of contests but in other contests, didn't.
"Conor can handle himself on the ground and can certainly handle himself on his feet but the in between has been a huge issue for high-level guys. Is Oliveira really a high-level guy? I don't have the answer for you but I know the fans are in for something incredible."
