UFC champ Daniel Cormier shares heartbreaking details of his daughter’s death in 2003

UFC heavyweight champ Daniel Cormier has long been one of the best humans in the fight game.

Which has made some hate that he’s gotten from fans over the years so mind-boggling. He’s a warrior in the Octagon, a master on the mic when he’s calling fights on TV, and, more importantly, an incredible father and family man when he’s not working or training.

On Sunday morning ESPN aired an incredibly well done “E:60” segment on the champ, who faces Stipe Miocic at UFC 241 this Saturday.

While it let viewers into DC’s life and his journey, it also featured a touching moment in which he shared the details of his baby daughter’s death back in 2003.

This is powerful and heartbreaking:

I’ve never understood how or why some fans don’t like or respect DC and if you are one of those fans and still don’t care for him after watching that then I don’t know what to tell you.

I suggest you try to find this segment on TV or find the clips of it online because it’s pretty great.
