DALLAS – Before they step into the cage again to compete for the women’s bantamweight title, Julianna Pena and Amanda Nunes came face-to-face at the UFC 277 pre-fight press conference.
Peña (11-4 MMA, 7-2 UFC) and Nunes (21-5 MMA, 14-2 UFC) are set to headline the pay-per-view event on Saturday at American Airlines Center, but before they fight again, they got up close for their first fight week staredown.
Nunes, who holds the women’s featherweight title has vowed to regain her bantamweight title in the rematch. Peña aims to record her first title defense by recording a second-straight victory over Nunes, following her title-winning finish at UFC 269.
