Justin Gaethje and Michael Chandler came face-to-face for the first time ahead of their anticipated UFC 268 bout following Thursday’s press conference.
The matchup of lightweight contenders between Gaethje (22-3 MMA, 5-3 UFC), a former interim UFC champion and WSOF titleholder, and Chandler (22-6 MMA, 1-1 UFC), a former three-time Bellator champ, will open Saturday’s pay-per-view main card at Madison Square Garden in New York. Prelims air on ESPNNews and ESPN+.
It’s one of the most anticipated bouts on the loaded lineup, and the intensity was palpable during the first staredown between the pair.
