UFC 267 ‘Embedded,’ No. 2: Khamzat Chimaev is ‘so hungry’ to fight

The UFC returns Saturday with UFC 267, which means the fight week video series “Embedded” is back to document the fighters behind the scenes.

UFC 267 takes place at Etihad Arena in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. The entire card streams on ESPN+ without a pay-per-view cost.

The top of the bill features two title fights. In the main event, light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz (28-8 MMA, 11-5 UFC) takes on former title challenger Glover Teixeira (32-7 MMA, 15-5 UFC). And in the co-headliner, former bantamweight champ Petr Yan (15-2 MMA, 7-1 UFC) and Cory Sandhagen (14-3 MMA, 7-2 UFC) will square off for an interim 135-pound title.

The main card also features a marquee lightweight bout between Dan Hooker (21-10 MMA, 11-6 UFC) and Islam Makhachev (20-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC), as well as the highly anticipated return of middleweight Khamzat Chimaev (9-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) against Li Jingliang (18-6 MMA, 10-4 UFC).

The second episode of “Embedded” follows the featured fighters as they go throughout their fight week. Here is the description from YouTube:

Cory Sandhagen packs light. Glover Teixeira sweats with a longtime training partner. Amanda Ribas is motivated by the competitive vibe of the athlete hotel. Khamzat Chimaev readies for his return. Champ Jan Blachowicz talks about his upcoming fight.
