Derrick Lewis and Ciryl Gane have both successfully made weight for UFC 265, making their interim UFC heavyweight title fight official.
Lewis hit the scale at 264.5 pounds, almost twenty pounds heavier than the undefeated Gane at 247 pounds.
The two top heavyweight contenders will compete for an interim heavyweight belt just five months after current champion Francis Ngannou won the heavyweight title against Stipe Miocic at UFC 260.
It was also booked 48 hours after Gane defeated Alexander Volkov in a fight not seen as a title eliminator.
UFC president Dana White had stated earlier in the year that Lewis would be next in line for the hard-hitting Ngannou following his knockout win against Curtis Blaydes, but he instead booked 'The Black Beast' against 'Bon Gamin'.
Gane has won six consecutive fights in the UFC since being signed by the promotion in 2019. Lewis is unbeaten in his last four UFC appearances.
Elsewhere at the UFC 265 weigh ins, former UFC featherweight kingpin Jose Aldo hit the bantamweight mark at 136 pounds. He will face fellow countryman Pedro Munhoz, who made championship weight at 135 pounds, in the co-main event of the evening.
Top welterweights Michael Chiesa and Vincente Luque both successfully weighed in under the 171 pound limit, with Chiesa at 170.5 pounds and Luque making 170 pounds.
The only fighter to miss weight was UFC flyweight Manel Kape. He missed the flyweight limit by three pounds, stepping on the scale at 129 pounds for his early preliminary fight with Ode Osbourne.
It's currently unclear whether Osbourne, who last fought at 145-pounds, will agree for the fight to take place at a catchweight. If so, Kape will forfeit a percentage of his fight purse to Osbourne as a penalty.
