ABU DHABI – Dominick Reyes and Jan Blachowicz look ready to decide a new light heavyweight champion on Saturday at UFC 253.
After both came in at 205 pounds on the nose at Friday’s official weigh-in, Reyes (12-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) had a final staredown to set the table for the vacant championship match, which was set up when Jon Jones relinquished the gold.
UFC 253 takes place at Flash Forum at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN2 and ESPN+.
