Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz will come face-to-face for the first time since their UFC 244 headliner was announced at a Thursday press conference in New York.
UFC officials today announced details of the press conference, which takes place at The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York City (7 p.m. ET) and is free and open to the public. For those unable to attend, the festivities will be streamed live on ESPN+.
Masvidal (34-13 MMA, 11-6 UFC) and Diaz (20-11 MMA, 15-9 UFC) are set to meet in the UFC 244 main event, which takes place Nov. 2 at Madison Square Garden and airs on pay-per-view.
The fight will mark the organization’s first planned non-title main event in more than three years. However, a “Baddest Mother(expletive)”, or “BMF,” title will be on the on the line between the two, as UFC president Dana White recently confirmed.
