MELBOURNE, Australia – UFC 243 weigh-ins took place on Friday and MMA Junkie was on-scene at the proceedings, where headliners Robert Whittaker and Israel Adesanya made their middleweight title unification bout official.
There was no separate official and ceremonial weigh-ins for UFC 243. The weigh-ins were conducted under the old-style format where fighters would step on the scale and have a faceoff immediately afterward.
Twenty of the 22 fighters on the card were on the mark, with Whittaker (20-4 MMA, 11-2 UFC) and Adesanya (17-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) coming in at the top of the bill.

UFC 243 takes place Saturday (Sunday locally) at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN2 and ESPN+/UFC Fight Pass.
