‘UFC 243 Embedded,’ No. 5: ‘Imagine if The Hulk did jiu-jitsu?’

The UFC’s 10th pay-per-view of the year takes place Saturday with UFC 243, and the promotion’s popular “Embedded” series returns to get you ready.

UFC 243 takes place at Marvel Arena in Melbourne, Australia. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and UFC Fight Pass/ESPN+.

In the main event, Robert Whittaker (20-4 MMA, 11-2 UFC) is set to return from the longest layoff of his MMA career to put his middleweight title on the line against Israel Adesanya (17-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC), who comes in as interim champion in attempt to unify the gold. In the co-main event, lightweight strikers Al Iaquinta (14-5-1 MMA, 9-4 UFC) and Dan Hooker (18-8 MMA, 8-4 UFC) go toe-to-toe.

The fifth episode of “UFC 242 Embedded” features the four fighters. Here’s the UFC’s description:

On Episode 5 of UFC 243 Embedded, heavyweight Tai Tuivasa teases his teammates, including UFC newcomer Justin Tafa. Middleweight champion Robert Whittaker has strong words for certain superheroes and their weaknesses. He and lightweight Al Iaquinta do interviews at Marvel Stadium before heading to the outdoor open workouts at Federation Square. Lightweight Dan Hooker kicks things off, and interim middleweight champion Israel Adesanya shows off his striking and styling. UFC 243 Embedded is an all-access, behind-the-scenes video blog leading up to the middleweight title unification bout taking place Saturday, October 5th.
