UFC 241 ‘Thrill and Agony’: Stipe Miocic finds out his dad is cancer-free

Once again, the UFC takes us behind the scenes of its latest pay-per-view – this time at UFC 241 in Anaheim, Calif.

UFC 241 took place this past Saturday at Honda Center. The main card aired on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and ESPN+/UFC Fight Pass.

In the UFC 241 “Thrill and Agony” preview, we get a behind-the-scenes look at the immediate aftermath surrounding Stipe Miocic, Daniel Cormier, Nate Diaz, and Anthony Pettis.

In the main event, Miocic (19-3 MMA, 13-3 UFC) got his revenge on Cormier (22-2 MMA, 11-2 UFC), but not before having to rally for a comeback, when he won by knockout late in the fourth round to reclaim the heavyweight title he’d lost to “DC” some 13 months earlier. And in the co-main event, Diaz (20-11 MMA, 15-9 UFC) returned from a three-year absence to put on a stellar performance against former UFC champion Pettis (22-9 MMA, 9-8 UFC), leading to a unanimous-decision victory.

Check out the full clip above to see the outpouring of emotions on all sides following the night’s featured action, including Miocic learning his father is cancer-free, Cormier consoling his kids cageside, and more.

The video is a preview of “Thrill and Agony.” The full episode is available on UFC Fight Pass for subscribers.
