Stipe Miocic, Paulo Costa, Yoel Romero, and Khama Worthy each earned $50,000 bonuses for their performances at Saturday’s UFC 241 event.
Miocic and Worthy each won “Performance of the Night” honors, while Costa and Romero earned “Fight of the Night” for their thrilling battle won by Costa via unanimous decision.
For Miocic, it’s the ninth fight-night bonus of his career, which is the most in UFC heavyweight history to break a tie with Stefan Struve. Miocic earned his extra money after knocking out Daniel Cormier in the fourth round to regain the title he lost to “DC.”
Worthy, meanwhile, scored the biggest upset of the year. As a +650 betting underdog, Worth won by first-round TKO over Devonte Smith after accepting the fight against his friend on very short notice.
UFC 241 took place Saturday at Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. The main card aired on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and ESPN+/UFC Fight Pass.
