EDMONTON – UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway and former lightweight champ Frankie Edgar faced off one last time Friday before their twice-delayed title fight.
Holloway and Edgar’s final photo op capped the ceremonial weigh-ins for UFC 240, which takes place Saturday at Rogers Place.
“Nothing great was achieved without much endured,” Edgar said after an intense, but respectful faceoff. “I’ve endured long enough. I’m ready for some more greatness.”
“Tomorrow I’m collecting a stone for my new belt,” Holloway said.
