The UFC’s seventh pay-per-view of the year takes place Saturday with UFC 240, and the promotion’s popular “Embedded” series returns to get you ready.
UFC 240 takes place Saturday at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and UFC Fight Pass/ESPN+.
In the main event, Max Holloway (20-4 MMA, 16-4 UFC) defends the UFC featherweight title against former lightweight champion Frankie Edgar(23-6-1 MMA, 17-6-1 UFC). In the co-feature bout, former UFC, Strikeforce, and Invicta featherweight champion
Cris Cyborg(20-2 MMA, 5-1 UFC) takes on undefeated Felicia Spencer (7-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC).
The fifth episode of “UFC 240 Embedded” features the two main eventers and Spencer. Here’s the UFC’s description:
On Episode 5 of UFC 240 Embedded, featherweight champion Max Holloway ignores his appetite as his team eats their feelings with fight night approaching. Featherweight Felicia Spencer meets the press at Ultimate Media Day, where she faces off in person against opponent Cris Cyborg; Holloway also squares up with challenger Frankie Edgar at the event. As weight cuts get underway, Edgar surrounds himself with friends and family.
