UFC 236: How to watch Holloway vs. Poirier on ESPN+

Seven years after Max Holloway tapped out to Dustin Poirier at UFC 143, Holloway will put his interim lightweight title on the line Saturday night in a rematch. The event marks the first pay-per-view under UFC’s polarizing new deal with ESPN+.

UFC announced last month that starting with UFC 236, fans will only be able to order pay-per-views through ESPN+, which means if you’re hoping to watch, you’re going to have to sign up for an ESPN+ subscription.

UFC fans have a few options to catch the PPV:

  • You can sign-up for a seven-day free trial of ESPN+, and then purchase UFC 236 separately for $59.99
  • You can purchase a package that includes a year-long ESPN+ subscription and UFC 236 for $79.99 (here)

If you opt for a month-to-month ESPN+ subscription, the cost is $4.99 per month. An annual subscription costs $49.99.

You will not be able to order the pay-per-view through your cable or satellite provider, as you may have done previously.

The UFC 236 main card will begin at 10:00 p.m. ET on ESPN+. Prelims will begin at 8:00 p.m. ET on ESPN.

Here are the five fights scheduled for Saturday’s main card:

Light heavyweight: Ovince Saint Preux (23-12) vs. Nikita Krylov (24-6)

Welterweight: Alan Jouban (16-6) vs. Dwight Grant (9-2)

Light heavyweight: Eryk Anders (11-3) vs. Khalil Rountree Jr. (7-3, 1 NC)

Middleweight interim championship: Kelvin Gastelum (15-3, 1 NC) vs. Israel Adesanya (16-0)

Lightweight interim championship: Max Holloway (c) (20-3) vs. Dustin Poirier (24-5, 1 NC)
