UEFA are sending their top money man into the FAI to study the struggling association’s books.
Josef Koller is Finance Director at the governing body of European football and will soon be arriving into Abbotstown offices.
It emerged last week that UEFA will offer financial support of up to €10 million to keep the crisis-hit FAI afloat.
A financial strategy plan is being drawn up by the FAI and UEFA are key players in that process.
Meanwhile, an EGM of the FAI is now on the cards ahead of the association’s AGM on July 27.
