How Arsenal and Chelsea fans can get tickets for the Europa League final in Baku

Arsenal and Chelsea are both through to the Europa League final after a dramatic night of football.

The two London clubs followed in the footsteps of Liverpool and Tottenham by reaching a major European final, with Arsenal overcoming Valencia 7-3 on aggregate and Chelsea progressing on penalties against Eintracht Frankfurt, after a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge.

As such, the two sides will now meet in Baku later this month in the final of the Europa League, with silverware and a place in next season's Champions League on offer.

Chelsea have already secured a place in the Champions League next season via the Premier League, but a win for Arsenal could make it five English representatives in the competition next season.

Why the success of Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs is not actually good for England

But how can fans get hold of tickets for the clash?

Here’s everything you need to know.

How to get tickets

Each side which makes the final will reportedly receive a mere 7,000 tickets each, which is sure to spark further debate around the amount of tickets that UEFA’s corporate partners receive - particularly as the venue in Baku holds over 64,000.

Over half of that total, which UEFA states is 37,500, will be given to fans and the remaining 23,500 tickets have been sold online by UEFA via a ballot, with successful applicants already being informed of their tickets.

The remaining 26,500 tickets being allocated to the local organising committee, national associations, commercial partners and broadcasters, and to serve the corporate hospitality.

How Liverpool and Spurs wins affect Champions League places for Arsenal and Chelsea next season

Some tickets will be available on resale sites but punters will have to pay well over the odds to secure their seat and there is no guarantee that the tickets are genuine, however.

At the time of writing, tickets on StubHub are available from £93, while HotFootballTickets as seats available from £200 - but these figures are likely to rise further.
